The Flood Watch continues for * Portions of East Arkansas, Southeast Missouri, and West Tennessee, including the following areas, in East Arkansas, Clay, Craighead, Greene, Mississippi, and Poinsett. In Southeast Missouri, Dunklin and Pemiscot. In West Tennessee, Benton, Carroll, Crockett, Dyer, Gibson, Henry, Lake, Lauderdale, Obion, and Weakley. * Through late tonight * An additional one to two inches of rainfall with isolated heavier amounts will fall over an already saturated ground. * Low lying and poor drainage areas will be at risk for flooding. Also the threat for river and small stream flooding will increase through tonight. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings.
