• Memphis Weather: Cloudy with Scatt'd Rain/Storms on tap for Mid South

    A line of rain is moving through the Mid-South along a cold front. Temperatures are in the lower 60s with south winds at 14 mph and gusts up to 23 mph in the Memphis metro.

    Widespread rain, heavy at times, will be likely over the next few hours. Showers will start to depart after 3pm. Staying mainly cloudy. 

    Severe weather is not expected. Rain chance at 60%.

    North winds at 5 mph.

    Low: 45°  


    Behind the front, skies clear for Thursday. Mostly sunny, highs in the lower 60s.
    A quick disturbance will pass through early Friday morning. A stray shower early, then becoming mostly sunny. Warmer. Highs near 71°.

    Another cold front is set to sweep through Saturday afternoon bringing showers and storms. There is more consistency with weather models on the timing of this frontal passage. Expect scattered showers to move in Saturday morning, with more widespread rain and storms in the afternoon and early evening. 

    Rain chance at 70%. Temps top out in the upper 60s before the front.
    Skies clear in the evening and temps drop. We start the day on Sunday in the upper 30s with highs near 55°.

    Looking ahead – dry weather dominates for Thanksgiving week.

    Temps look to stay below average too. Upper 50s Monday, lower 60s Tuesday, 50s on Wednesday.

    It looks to be a chilly Thanksgiving this year with highs temps in the lower 50s.
