• Memphis Weather: Mix Sun/Clouds with Chilly Temperatures on tap for Mid-South

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. - COLD air is filtering into a very dry mid-south.

    Some of our southern-most counties – near Oxford, MS – are currently experience a CHANCE of brief flurries as moisture picks up in value just south of there.

    99% of the FOX13 viewing area will be very cold and very dry going into the weekend.

    The air temperature the next 3 nights will be below freezing leading to hard-freeze concerns – please check to ensure that all pipes and faucets outdoors are wrapped and protected and that pets are warm and provided for.

    Windchill readings overnight tonight and into tomorrow morning will dip into the high teens making for a very cold start.

    TONIGHT: Partly cloudy – Low 25/Windchill 18

    TOMORROW: Partly cloudy – High 40/Windchill 37

    EXTENDED FORECAST:

    Extremely cold temperatures in store for the Mid-South through the end of the weekend.

    Afternoon highs will be in the 40s until Monday. 

    Morning lows in the 20s.
